Our scope of work encompassed a comprehensive set of structural alterations to an existing building, marking a pivotal phase in the project’s development. Within this scope, a multitude of intricate tasks were meticulously executed to transform the building to meet the project’s evolving needs.
The project involves several key tasks, including the removal of equipment from plant rooms and the demolition of existing concrete walls and slabs. Additionally, there is a significant underground drainage component, which entails constructing a pump chamber approximately 4 meters below the slab level, a task that also requires addressing groundwater issues. To minimise noise disturbance to neighboring properties, stitch drilling through concrete walls is planned. Finally, the project will expand the usable space for the end user by installing new elements such as metal decking, dowel bars, reinforcement, and concrete, effectively enhancing the available footprint.
