Stephenson House Project – London

Our project at Stephenson House in London is progressing well.  The project involves internal structural works and groundworks in this redevelopment of an office building into a mixed-use scheme.

The work has so far involved the following:

  • Breaking out columns
  • Preparing the concrete slab for re-casting of the basement slab
  • Removing the large ground obstruction and preparing to mass fill with concrete to reinstate the slab.

Ground works and reinforced concrete account for a large proportion of Shaca’s turnover and we have successfully completed many new build groundworks schemes.  Examples of the schemes include underpinning works, basements and swimming pools.

Many of our projects are in very challenging central London sites with restricted access and often within/below existing buildings.

If your organisation requires similar groundworks, please feel free to get in touch.

King William Street Project in collaboration with Willmott Dixon Interior

Works are well underway at our King William Street project in collaboration with Willmott Dixon Interior.

Our photos demonstrate the progress we have already made with this intensive structural works project in London, one of many such projects we are proud to be a part of.

Key elements of the London structural project include:

  • Block work to form new hallway and lift access on the First Floor
  • First floor slab infill approx 12 m2
  • Underside of new slab infill showing new support steelwork and hollowing decking prior to concreting
  • Welding support brackets for Metsec joist infills at 1st Floor level
  • Breakout of ground floor to allow formation of new disabled access ramp.

Our portfolio includes many similar structural works with over 400 schemes completed in London.  If you have a project you would like to discuss with us, please feel free to get in touch:
